About the race
KPMG Front Street Mile
The only race held at night this event is the kick-off event for the weekend. The whole community takes part in the 1 mile fun run.This is the first event in the Bermuda Triangle Challenge.
Bermuda 10K & 10K Walk—January 16th, 9:00am
This standard bearer of a race will bring out the best in you. Runners will challenge themselves to the finish line inside the impressive National Sports Centre. The Bermuda 10K also features a non-competitive walking division.
Bermuda Half Marathon—January 17th, 8:00am
The Bermuda Half Marathon begins at 8:00AM on Sunday, January 18th. The 13.1 mile course will start and finish on Front St. in Hamilton. Runners and walkers will enjoy many breathtaking vistas of both the south and north coast’s combining views of the changing shades of blue and green of the ocean with the bright colourful pastel hues of the buildings.
Bermuda Marathon—January 17th, 8:00am
The Bermuda Marathon will be run at the same time as the Bermuda Half Marathon with the Bermuda Marathon runners completing 2-laps of the Bermuda Half Marathon course (see above).
Bermuda Triangle Challenge
Will you SURVIVE the Bermuda Triangle Challenge, 3 races in 3 days? Now in its 7th year, the Bermuda Triangle Challenge is your opportunity to earn big time bragging rights while running “3 races in 3 days.” Participants will complete the KPMG Front Street Mile, Bermuda 10K and either the Bermuda Marathon or Half Marathon. Finishers will receive a finisher’s medal for each of the 3-races as well as a special Bermuda Triangle Challenge medal and t-shirt to commemorate their achievement.(see above).
Bermuda Triangle Challenge Awards:
Awards will be presented to the Man and Woman with the lowest accumulated time in the Bermuda Triangle Half Challenge and the Bermuda Triangle Challenge events.
